Reverse Engineering Custom-Engineered Spare Parts for Drawing, Stranding, and Extrusion Lines

  • Reverse engineering from physical samples, worn parts, or damaged components — no drawings required
  • High-precision 3D scanning and CAD modeling for exact dimensional replication
  • Material analysis and selection: carbon steel, stainless steel, hardened alloys, engineering polymers, carbide
  • Tolerance validation and compatibility checks against OEM specifications
  • Optional design enhancements: improved coatings, heat treatments, and wear-resistant upgrades
  • Full technical documentation: 3D CAD files, inspection reports, and material certifications
  • Single-unit prototypes and batch production available
  • Worldwide shipping with secure packaging for precision components
  • Discontinued or obsolete drawing die holders, capstans, and capstan liners
  • Worn wire guides, roller dies, and pulling wheels for multi-wire drawing machines
  • Hard-to-find stranding machine components: flyer arms, bow guides, tensioner parts, and cradle assemblies
  • Extrusion line components: crosshead parts, die holders, tooling, and adapter flanges
  • Replication of pay-off and take-up system parts including spools, flanges, and dancer arms
  • Dancer rollers, guide rollers, and deflection pulleys for accumulator and capstan units
  • Obsolete parts for annealing lines, cooling troughs, and quench systems

Send us a physical sample. Our engineering team will evaluate the component, identify the material and geometry, and develop a fully compatible replacement or upgraded version. We assist with dimensional validation, OEM cross-referencing, and documentation to ensure a seamless fit in your production line.

We supply reverse-engineered spare parts for wire drawing, stranding, and extrusion machinery, covering a wide range of components that are no longer available through original manufacturers, have excessive lead times, or require performance upgrades. Using advanced 3D scanning, precision measurement, and CAD modeling, we reproduce critical parts with dimensional accuracy that meets or exceeds OEM standards — from simple wear elements to complex mechanical assemblies used across the wire and cable industry.

Wire and cable production lines depend on a large number of highly specialized components that are often unique to the machine manufacturer or even to a specific production generation. When these parts become obsolete, are discontinued, or are simply unavailable on the market, reverse engineering provides the most reliable path to keeping the line running. We work regularly with equipment from manufacturers such as Niehoff, Maillefer, Rosendahl, Nokia Maillefer, Pourtier, Henrich, Samp, MFL, Cortinovis, Troester, Stolberger, Davis-Standard, Queins and Nextrom, among others — reproducing parts for customers who operate these machines and need solutions when OEM supply is no longer an option.

Our reverse engineering process can be initiated from a physical sample, a worn or broken part, a photograph, or a partial drawing. There is no requirement for original documentation. Our engineers analyze the component’s geometry, material composition, surface finish, and functional role within the assembly. This applies to a broad range of wire and cable machine parts, including die holders, capstans, capstan liners, flyer arms, bow guides, stranding cradle components, crosshead bodies, die adapter flanges, tooling sets, guide rollers, dancer arms, pulling wheels, tensioner elements, take-up flanges, spool cores, accumulator rollers, quench system parts, and annealer contact components.

Beyond exact replication, we also offer enhanced reverse engineering — where the reproduced part incorporates material or design improvements identified during the analysis phase. This is particularly valuable for components that showed accelerated wear in their original form. Upgraded alloy grades, harder surface treatments, improved coatings, or tighter tolerances can all be applied during reproduction, resulting in a replacement part that outlasts the original and reduces maintenance frequency on your drawing, stranding, or extrusion line.

All reverse-engineered components are delivered with full technical documentation, including dimensional inspection reports, material certifications, and 3D CAD files when applicable. We support both one-off urgent replacements and recurring batch production, with consistent quality control across all quantities. Parts are available for worldwide shipping with appropriate packaging to protect precision surfaces during transport — serving wire and cable manufacturers across Europe, the Americas, the Middle East, Southeast Asia, and beyond.
